The Open tournament will feature perhaps the all-star lineup of world-class players invited across the globe. Singapore players may get the chance to face players from all over the world boasting perhaps the highest standards in Singapore Othello.

The tournament will also be one of the longer duration per round for each player, featuring a hectic 8 rounds (20mins thinking time) schedule in one day.

At the end of the tournament, trophies will be given out to the top 3 and the top female players that have achieved the highest points/aggregate in the tournament.

System: 8 rounds Swiss pairing. (Second Saturday of December)
Timing: 20 minutes per player /round
Venue: Buona Vista Community Club Room 2-8 or (Subjected to confirmation)
Duration: 9am-7pm

Entry: Opened to all Othello players.
