The Nationals will feature perhaps the all-star lineup of the local world-class players. This is the only event that will boast cash prizes as well as the highest honour to the top 3 players and top female player who will be given the World Othello Championship qualifications to represent Singapore in the annual tournament held across the globe each year.

The tournament will also boast one of the longer duration per round for each player, featuring a hectic 8 rounds (20mins thinking time) schedule in one day.

At the end of the tournament, trophies and cash prizes will be given out to the top 3 and the top female players that have achieved the highest points/aggregate in the tournament.

Certificates of awards will be given to the top 10 ranking players of the tournament.

System: 8 rounds Swiss pairing. (Second Saturday of August)

Entry: Opened to all Singaporeans, PRs and players who have been in Singapore for more than 6 months.
